Redesign and Site Migration
Hey loyal netizens!

Guess what? We have a new layout, optimized software and a better, faster server! Still the same old Macross, but this time running Debian with dual processors. The connectivilty has also been upgraded—we're now on a fatty T1 line!

Let me cut to the chase—What does this do for you? Well, funny you should ask. Basically, you can expect faster load times, snappier page accesses and of course, the cushy feeling of new-ness. Enjoy it while the new car smell is still overwhelming!

Progress
It's been a while since the redesign and things seem to be very stable. Due to this amazing phenomena, I've opted to work on having universal templates-- one for the main site (like http://www.getcoded.net/) and one for blog and gallery (like http://blog.getcoded.net/). In doing so, I had a little problems integrating our phpBB fourms... so instead of screw with things, our forum has been fragged (see http://forum.getcoded.net/). If you want to conact us, send an email to brad@getcoded.net.

We're back in style!
Hello friends!

No, your eyes are not deceiving you... Genome Software is really back after how many years! We've redesigned our frontend and reworked our backend to make Genome better, stronger and friendlier than ever before. Prepare to be astounded by the miraculous open-source projects presented here in the months to come, but for now, take a look around the new Genome. If you encounter any problems or have any *new* and *fresh* ideas for the site, please feel free to post a message in our forums.

Enjoy! :)

*Update (4/17/03): The forums have been removed due to a *ahem* problem integrating our templates, so feel free not to post a message in our forums =)

Test
This is just a test of our new homebrew CMS (Content Management System) called CORE. CORE isn't an acronym-- its just a cool assembly of letters in an uppercase fashion. =) It will be running all of our web pages and allow us (read: me) to quickly update the site.

Hopefully it works! /me crosses his fingers
