About Genome Software(we rock!)
by webmaster02

Hrmm... about me... sheesh. Well, to explain, Genome Software LLC is my deliberate attempt to take over the world through open-source software. So far, I am ruler of this site, my half of a dorm room at UCI and the communal bathroom from 8:40-9:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Not quite the blue-planet, I know, but every fledgling megalomaniac has to start somewhere. As I mentioned earlier, I'm a student at UCI-- a freshman to be specific-- and an ICS major to boot. In my free time I like to take moonlit walks on the beach.... *ahem*, I mean, I like to program under cover of darkness and drink lots and lots of caffeine. My drink of choice varies between Mr. Pibb, Dr. Pepper and Red Fusion although deep down, I will always be a devoted Pibb-ster (even though they don't distribute it in cans/bottles in California). I'm a graphic/web designer by trade and have been doing it for about six years (If you are interested in hiring me, here is my portfolio).

Genome Software is basically an extension of the silly little programs that I have made for my personal enjoyment. The whole point of it is to have a place to give this software away for free-- a personal SourceForge. For your information, <legal jargon> all software downloaded here is released under the GPL (General Public License), but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the GNU General Public License for more details. </legal jargon> If you have problems with anything, you can email me-- brad@getcoded.net. Oh yeah, and I digitally sign all of my email messages with my Gnu Privacy Guard public key so that you can be sure that I'm really listening to all your mindless dribble.

My hosting has been provided by Jon, Bailey and sexy Macross at tgpsolutions. I run Debian 3.0 Unstable (Sid) at home and code web stuff exclusively in HTML and PHP. Most of my pages will be valid HTML 4.01 Transitional and valid CSS 1.0, but don't have a cow if some are particularly bad (like the gallery). If you would like to see screenshots of my desktop, please direct your attention to the aptly named screenshots page.
